Isabelle in the Afternoon

Kennedy Douglas
Résumé
Taking a break from law school, dream internships, and the life pre-destined for him by his father, Sam decides on an impulsive trip to Paris. At a bookshop, he meets the enticing and worldly Isabelle, and his life changes forever. She is mysterious and beautiful, but all Sam can think about is the wedding ring on her finger. What follows is a passionate but obsessive affair that will haunt Sam for the rest of his life, unable to forget about the afternoons they spent together in her tiny Parisian apartment.
